How to become an energy healer?

I have been reading everything I can for quite some time and feel that I have abilities I would like to use to help others heal themselves.  However, I am unsure how to proceed.  I have no real qualifications in the sense that I am hold no degrees or certifications.  What do I need to practice in the state of Texas?  How does it work?  Do I have to be LMT to touch people at all in this state?  I’m very confused at the moment.  Thanks so much in advance for any words you can offer.
