At the request of a number of members, we will be having an early spring A-tune-ment for our March get togethers.

We'll be utilizing many different crystal tuning bowls in various parts of the room, while "OM"ing along with whichever notes strike you. In a group in February, this produced spontaneous toning that was beautiful and therapeutic. Remember, it's your own sound.........nobody to impress here. It's fascinating to feel what happens when you tune into the bowl. The vibes are really felt in a much more powerful way physically when you hold certain notes with the bowls.

All members are asked to bring any bowls they may have, (crystal only) and we'll pair up to ring them for an extended period. Any spontaneous toning that occurs will be more softly and with the notes of the bowls, rather than other types of toning we have done in previous sessions. Afterwards will be a deep meditation and then discussion.

***This is going to be a total body cleansing and All-Chakra clearing..........just in time for Spring to hit the Calendar.**

February is the month of love and this month we're going to Love Ourselves!

The theme is "Finding Your Bliss". We'll be doing a number of different sounding techniques with this intent. Our chants will be traditional Sanskrit, invoking Bliss, Happiness and Attunement with Ourselves....

We'll also have a Crystal Bowl attunement meditation for our Heart Chakras.

This is going to be a great one............Don't Miss It!!

Candlelit Chanting and Sound Healing

this is our December Chant date in Virginia. go to Message Board on the left and click on "December's Theme" ~~ "A Third Eye Journey" for a description of the sessions this month. it will be in the same location as the last one in Virginia. full directions will be sent to you upon your "YES" rsvp.

in this location we are able to adjust the lighting to low AND add lots of little candles! it is a relaxed and lovely space, just perfect for chanting.

okay, we have a space for our MD folk who've said they need a space closer to them than DC. this is a great location, just a couple minutes walk from the Takoma Park Metro and the space itself is private and really wonderful as well. and because you'll be coming from Annapolis, Baltimore, Waldorf, Jessup, College Park, Upper Marlboro, etc. as well as Takoma Park and Silver Spring, i'm doing this one on a weekend.
this ALSO gives us the chance to find a really fun restaurant in Takoma or SS to go hang out and get to know each other as well! we'll find a place we can walk to..

so bring your significant other if ya think ya can't get out of the house without them! unfortunately, you WILL have to leave your dog/cat at home if THAT'S your significant other......... i have total and complete sympathy! ;-) perhaps on a warm summer day, we'll find a spot along the Potomac to chant and pets can come and serenade us with their howls!
